This Privacy Policy explains how ClanFee (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile app and services — messaging, voice/video calls, live sessions, groups (free and paid), and cloud storage. By using ClanFee you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account details — name, username, email, phone number, and profile photo.
Content you create — messages, media (photos, videos, files), group content, and cloud-storage files you upload.
KYC data (paid-group owners only) — full name, date of birth, PAN, Aadhaar, a selfie, and an OTP-verified mobile number, collected to verify identity and release payouts.
Payment data — processed by our payment partners (Razorpay, Cashfree); we do not store your card or bank credentials.
Device & usage data — device identifiers (including advertising ID via bundled Google services), app version, log data, and approximate usage needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

To provide messaging, calls, live sessions, groups, and storage.
To verify identity (KYC) and process payouts for paid-group owners.
To process payments and subscriptions through our payment partners.
To keep the platform safe — prevent abuse, review reports, and comply with law.
To send you service notifications (e.g. calls, messages, KYC status).

3. End-to-end encrypted calls

One-to-one voice and video calls on ClanFee are end-to-end encrypted. The audio and video are encrypted on the participants’ devices with keys we never hold, so we cannot access the content of your private calls.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored on secured servers and with Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible) object storage. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. Media you delete is removed from our chat view; content that is reported for abuse or child-safety is preserved as evidence until the matter is resolved.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: payment processors (to complete transactions), infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, messaging), and law enforcement or authorities where required by law or to protect users — including reporting of child sexual abuse material as described in our Child Safety Standards.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and request account deletion, by emailing support@clanfee.com from your registered email address. We respond within a reasonable time and delete data except where retention is required by law.

7. Children

ClanFee is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed to children. If you believe a child is using the service or that child-sexual-abuse material is present, contact us immediately at support@clanfee.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
